- I am currently working with Dr. Weilu Gao's research group at the University of Utah doing research in optical machine learning. My work going forward is in silicon photonic implementations of optical machine learning architectures. More information about my research and the lab can be found here.
- Duration: December 2023 - Present
- Research Topic: Optical Machine Learning, Integrated Photonics, Electro-Optic Modulators
- Research Group/PI: Light-matter Interaction @ Nanoscale/ Dr. Gao, Weilu
- During the summer of 2023, I was at the University of Cincinnati doing research in the broad area of hardware security. My objective was to identify and characterize the relationship between transistor aging and attacks that could be performed on these aged devices. I used techniques of side-channel analysis to determine the uniqueness of different attacks caused by the EM emations of the circuits. More information can be found here.
- Duration: May 2023 - September 2023
- Research Topic: Hardware Security and Trust, Side-Channel Analysis, Electromagnetic Attacks
- Research Group/PI: Boyang Wang Group & MIND Lab/ Dr. Wang, Boyang
- In the summer of 2022, I was at the University of Louisville doing research in the area of additive manufacturing and nanotechnology. My ultimate goal was to develop a Monte-Carlo style simulation of a physical vapor deposition process called "Glancing-Angle Deposition". I implemented the simulation to mimic the fabrication process and verified the results using SEM imaging to quantify differences. More information can be found here.
